| Community programs, conferences and seminars are provided to highlight best practices in mental health education, awareness and provide forums to share up-to-date knowledge on treatment, modalities and advocacy. Open to the public, providers consumersk family mambers and leaders, the objective is to increase overall community awareness and support of mental health resources needed to meet the needs of consumers and family members. | |

| Local Health Fairs and Community Events are forums to display mental health resource materials, provide depression and anxiety disorcer screenings, conduct basic facts and opinion surveys on mental health and offer inviduals moments to ask questions and get help. | |
Feel-Good Activities for
Older Adults are conducted by request at local retirement
centers, nursing homes, senior centers and assisted living facilities.
These activities feature learning and play programs that connect
mental health with health and wellness. |

Suicide prevention provides
a healing forum for survivors to honor those they have lost, to
share their stories and to build an on-going initiative for community
prevention support. |

Awareness campaigns
provide messages to target populations, through focus groups, media
and community centers presentations, as well as conduct surveys
and report findings to the community. |
